I've taken a lot of guided fishing trips over the years. I think Jack is probably the best one I’ve fished with. He knows the lake, he knows what techniques are working, and he’s a just a great guy to spend a day with. I’ve done a lot of bass fishing over the years – but I never pitched around docks before. He taught me the tricks and was very patient. If you’re on vacation, go for it. If you are thinking about a “customer trip” - even better! I know I’m going back next year.

Hey Jack – thanks for the great day on the lake! I really enjoyed learning how to fish deep water. I’ve been bass fishing for years and never really learned this technique until now. Also, thanks for taking some “time off” from the bass fishing to go get some white bass “for the pan.” They were excellent! I’m already planning my trip for next year.

Hi jack,

I wanted to take a moment today to thank you once again for a great day of fishing and to give you a referral. Like many people we buy homes here at the lake for the beauty and relaxation along with all the great features of the water. But I was also one of those people who wanted to fish. I categorized myself as a novice when it came to fishing, I had been here for four years and always tried to fish but seldom had success. So I decided it was time to hire an expert to show me the ropes. It was great! Jack took me out and in minutes we were catching fish. Instead of calling Jack “captain” we should consider him as “coach.” After my lesson with Jack I went on to catch more fish then I could imagine for the next two week. For those of you interested in improving your skills I would highly recommend Jacks Guide service. Besides being a easy going guy and a wonderful host, Jack is just fun to fish with.

I wanted to thank you again for taking Tim and me out fishing today and letting us pick your brain on fishing. We both had a great time fishing with you and I we both came away with more firsthand knowledge (versus articles and fishing reports) about bass fishing Lake of the Ozarks. Thank you so much for showing my son Jonah and I the best time we've ever had fishing.  What an awesome way to have some father/son time before sending him off to college. We will remember this trip forever.

I would love to do it again if we are ever back at Lake of the Ozarks. Jack, Just got home from the Lake. Wanted to drop you a thank you note for a great time fishing. Greg caught some nice fish and we learned alot from talking with you. I will for sure get ahold of you when we return and look forward to it. Wish we would have had more time. I see that you were fishing out in front of our condo a few days later. I was the one waving at you from our deck and you waved back. But I was not sure if you knew who you were waving at. Thanks again.

Hi Jack,

Just a note to say a huge thank you for taking us out on the Lake today. We all had a really great time. Matt has already got the photo of his bass printed on the way home and is bragging to his team mates as we speak!! We stopped off at the Hideout for lunch and so the day was perfect.
